What the Idaho Oversight of Administrative Rules and Regulations Amendment does:
- Ensures that your elected representatives – not a faceless bureaucrat – approves rules and regulations that will affect your family, farm, ranch or small business
- Holds the politicians accountable for the actions of government, ensuring that your voice is heard
- Encourages better communication and cooperation within our branches of state government
HJR5 levels the balance of power between the executive, judicial, and legislative branch, by ensuring that the executive branch enforces laws based on the legislature’s intent when passing them.
It’s simple, clear, and protects Idaho’s families. Representatives who are accountable to voters should be able to review regulations before they are put into place. HJR5 allows that, by holding the politicians and bureaucrats accountable to voters.
