Dear Chairs and Candidates,
We have 51 days until the November Election! All around Idaho, our candidates and members are working hard to move our Grand Old Party forward to victory! It is exciting times to see our Party working hard.
I write you today to give you an update on the election and what the State Party is doing to help get all of our candidates elected.
We are pleased to announce that we are opening two Idaho GOP Field Offices; one located in Idaho Falls, and the other located in Boise. We are still in the process of developing a third location and once we have more information, we will announce it.
Each location will come equipped with a 10-station phone bank. These Field Offices are available for all candidates to use. Each office has a point of contact to coordinate with to use the facility. Please utilize these facilities.

This election, the State Party will be providing absentee ballot request lists to any and all candidates. As many of you are aware, once absentee ballots start going out, each day the Secretary of State puts out a list of individuals who were sent an absentee ballot. Candidates would then have to each purchase the list and sort to find those within their boundaries. We will be providing pre-sorted lists at no charge that are already broken down by each county and legislative district so candidates can easily use them as part of their absentee ballot chase program. Please stay-tuned on how to gain access to this tool.
The GOP Data Center is in the process of being updated with the most recent voter file from the Secretary of State’s office. If you are interested in using the GOP Data Center and do not have access or your access has expired, please email me at david@idgop.org and I’ll get you login information. For those who do not know, the GOP Data Center is a user-friendly tool that you can pull walking and mailing lists from.
We have several other programs being developed including direct mail (absentee push and chase mailers) that will benefit all candidates, statewide and local.
Some house-keeping items I need from each of the County and Legislative Districts:
1. If you have regularly Central Committee meetings and you would like them listed on our website, please email me the details.
2. If you have any events coming up that you would like listed on our calendar and included in the weekly updates, please submit the event here.
3. Please send a copy of each of the County and Legislative District Bylaws to david@idgop.org
4. Updating the State Party Roster is a continual project. In order to most effectively communicate and work as a Party, we need to have the most current contact information for all of our officers from Precinct Committee Persons to the State Party Chairman. If you did not send in contact information after your organization meetings or if you have updates, please let me know.
5. Lastly, the State Party is assisting the state-wide candidates organize their literature needs. Please let me know how much literature for the state-wide candidates you need. If you do not have literature blitz plans or canvassing plans or mailing plans, start considering how much literature your county/legislative district needs for the election and let me know.
Many of you I have spoken with over the phone or met in-person. I look forward to getting to know each of you as we continue to move forward to victory in November! I appreciate your time and help. If you need anything or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
